I am a highly ambitious 3D creator, rising up to challenges thrown my way.
Hello, I’m Olivia Coponi, currently entering my fourth year at Drexel University with a major in Animation & Visual Effects. Beyond the realm of art, I find comfort in the great outdoors, often hiking through NJ state parks and casting my line in the Raritan Bay for a bit of fishing. The smell of freshly brewed espresso in the morning is a cherished part of my morning routine. Back in high school, I was deeply involved in sports, particularly as a javelin thrower and titled captain of the cross country team in my senior year of high school. During those long runs with my team, I couldn’t help but brainstorm new ideas for my upcoming projects. In my senior year, I was the senior superlative winner for the, “most artistic”, in the entire school. That title is a testament to my unwavering dedication to visual storytelling and relentless experimentation with various art mediums.
My artistic journey began early, with a pencil in hand from the moment I could grasp one. In middle school, my enthusiasm for animation led me to Rutgers Mason Gross College through it’s community arts program. That was where I dived straight into the foundations of animation. My passion for the craft propelled me to kickstart the animation program and earn the title of class ambassador, a role I held onto until my high school graduation in June of 2021. Now, my sights are set on becoming a 3D animator and/or lead 3D modeler, with a distinctive focus on zoology. I’m fervently committed to the art of storytelling through animation, believing in its power to be interpreted uniquely by each viewer.
